In 2002, BIOEX launched ECOPOL the first Fluorine-Free Foam (F3) on the market, for extinguishing fire while protecting the environment. Pioneer in eco-friendly foams, BIOex has the challenge to convince its customers to choose these “new generation of green products”, which are 100% fluorine free, and have already proven their effectiveness.

Research and development is a fundamental part of the strategy. An experienced team of doctors and engineers in chemistry works on a daily basis to optimise existing formulas and create new foam concentrate formulas with new compounds.

Attentive to user needs and eager to best meet professional requirements, our challenge is to develop ever more effective foam concentrates with an ever lower impact on the environment.

Our laboratory is fitted with ultra modern equipment to test and control all physical-chemical parameters.

To verify the behaviour and performance of our products on fires according to applicable standards, BIOEX’s plant is equipped with small scale indoor and wider outdoor normative test pans. Large scale fire tests can be achieved on a technical training platform.

NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART PREMISES

To support the growing demand of our customer and enhance our reactivity, BIOEX foam manufacturer moved in new premises in 2020. Located at Sainte-Consorce, near Lyon (France) and close to major road and airport infrastructures, the company is established on a field of 9 000m². The facilities are built at the latest standards. BIOEX acquired new production equipment and doubled the loading docks, increasing production capacity and storage capacity.
